Thanks for the review! The iOS app works well only on iPhones and iPads equipped with A14 Bionic or later chips (iPhone 12 and later). Unfortunately as of iOS 16, Apple only allows developers to gate on A12 Bionic or later. This leaves a small set of devices (iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone 11 and 2nd gen iPhone SE) on which we cannot restrict users from downloading the app, and the app wouldn't work well. We've added this caveat on the App Store description. Hopefully, iOS 17 have a way to restrict the app to be installable only on devices with the A14 Bionic or later chips.
Update: Both the macOS and the iOS apps have evolved significantly since my last reply. The macOS app now ships with a bigger 7B parameter model and users with Apple Silicon Macs that have 16GB or more RAM, can now download a bigger and better 13B parameter LLM.
Tested it out on my MacBook Pro M1 Max 32GB and iPhone 12. It is working incredibly well on both. A bit slower on my iPhone, but very usable. I plan to cancel my ChatGPT Plus subscription.
Personal GPT is a small 3B parameter LLM quantized to run on recent iPhones, iPads and macs. The model is based on the RedPajama-INCITE-Chat-3B-v1 model, and further SFT fine tuned on a few OSS and our own internal instruction tuning datasets.

@whimzical yes I found it slow but when I shut other apps down it did speed up, not as easy as chat to use lot of funny answers, but let give credit where credits due it’s not sucking all our data in to learn from, so it’s like going to nursery school to learn law, it’s going to take time too learn every thing. I do not know if it would work better on a pc, I can’t afford a new one and someone kindly stole mine, while I was in hospital! So much love in the world 🙄🤗sad really 😘

😿 even though it was actually my comment you so kindly responded to everyone else has claimed them even the codes that haven’t been claimed?well who ever used them did not bother too come back here and state, the only request that You had of them highly frustrating for me as being dyslexic I spent ages re typing blaming myself for not reading them correctly! And now when I even go into my App Store it just wants to charge me the 9.99 now. Thank u for trying to be so giving in the first place 🥇 for your kindness! I hope those of You who did take the codes can be bothered to come and give a review for the ones left with out. Which I will add, is the whole reason that we’re even given the opportunity to use such systems for free during the lunch period. Anyway moan over. thank you for the chance of testing out personal GPT! I will definitely have to learn to use clear promts. And it will take some time getting used to addressing personal GPT. Otherwise he just tells you what you just asked as its response. But here is a prompt I found from the Internet and this is what GPT generated. I have no idea how it turned out because I don’t know what to do with code to actually generate a program, but I wanted to give it a real test. So below is my prompt and then the response. Let me know what it was like guys. Is it a good response before I give you that information I will say this really did give me a chuckle cheered up my day with some of the responses that I did get what it is amazing considering this is all done off-line.
