I built Penwick for a familiar writing problem: the draft makes sense, but the prose feels generic, overly polished, or noticeably AI-generated. Most “humanizer” tools respond by replacing words, forcing uneven phrasing, or adding messiness. In the process, they can blur the original point instead of strengthening it. Penwick takes a different route. It treats rewriting as an editorial task: preserve the meaning, then work on the rhythm, structure, and tone until the writing feels more natural. It doesn’t confuse human writing with deliberate mistakes. I’d be interested in hearing where the rewrites feel strong or fall short, how the positioning comes across, and what kinds of drafts you’d want to run through Penwick.
