Hey everyone, I'm Mehran. I'm a solo iOS developer and this is my first time launching here. I built Penny Pilot because most expense trackers ask for a bank login before you even know if you'll like the app, and that never sat right with me. Penny Pilot doesn't ask for an account or any bank access. Everything you log stays on your phone. I wanted logging an expense to take seconds, but not feel stripped down. So it still has multi currency wallets, real budgets, monthly and yearly statistics, and on device AI summaries using Apple Intelligence, just without any of it feeling slow or complicated to use. This is a first version, so it's simple by design right now. I'm working on things like iCloud backup and a few other features next.
