@eliservescent Hey, yah! I need to get in the habit of commenting every time I post something. The designer of this book is David Pearson (http://typeasimage.com), the designer behind Penguin's fantastic Great Ideas series (some of my favorite covers every made. They're completely stunning, especially in person. So textured!). The book itself is not only a fantastic accounting of Penguin's legendary design evolution – with amazing examples of Jan Tschichold's work and the creation of the Marber grid, etc. – but it's also a testament to Pearson and his team's work to elevate Penguin once again to the status of a paragon when it comes to book and cover design. Everything about it is considered: the photographs of notable figures have a pleasing tint of Penguin orange. The covers are reproduced in impeccable quality. And the history is well told. All in all, this is a must for any book lover.
