A small tool that converts PDF tables (bank statements, invoices, reports) into Excel files. Runs entirely client-side using pdf.js and SheetJS, nothing is ever uploaded to a server. Works with text-based PDFs. One-time purchase, no subscription, no account needed to use it.
honestly the privacy angle is a big selling point for me, so good call keeping it client-side. one thing though, would be really helpful if you could add batch processing so i can drop like 10 statements in at once instead of doing them one by one
@umutfct Thanks, that's a great point. Batch processing (multiple PDFs in one go) is the most requested thing so far, it's on my list for the next update. Appreciate you trying it out.
@umutfct Quick question since you mentioned it's a purchase argument for you: the current version's UI is in German. If you were considering buying it, would an English version be something you'd want, or is that a dealbreaker either way?
@umutfct Quick correction to my earlier reply: I checked again and batch processing already works, no need to wait for an update. Just drop multiple PDFs into the dropzone at once, each one becomes its own sheet in a single Excel file, one download at the end. Sorry for the confusion earlier. handy little tool, threw a bank statement at it and the table came out clean without anything getting uploaded anywhere, which is basically what i want from a pdf converter these days

The privacy-first client-side approach is genuinely appealing, especially for handling sensitive bank statements. One feature that would make this much more useful for me would be the ability to save and reuse column mapping templates, so when I convert recurring monthly statements from the same bank I don't have to re-tell the tool which columns are dates, amounts, and descriptions every single time.
@ayenurhalaqfmb Saved column mapping templates for recurring statements is a really good idea, especially for the same-bank-every-month case. Noting it down alongside the batch processing request, they'd pair well together.

Really like the offline-first approach since bank statements are sensitive. One thing that would help a lot is letting users preview and select which tables to export instead of dumping every detected table into separate sheets, especially when one PDF has multiple unrelated tables mixed together.
@haydardtia Good catch, multi-table PDFs are exactly the edge case I'd want to handle better. A preview step to pick which detected tables to export makes sense, adding it to the list of improvements from this thread.
