Reading a book in another language or working through a research paper usually means constantly switching between your PDF, translator, Google, Wikipedia, and notes. Select any text to translate or research instantly, capture full pages without losing diagrams or layouts, and save your notes to WhatsApp, email, Markdown, or reminders. NarratorPDF is built for language learners, students, researchers, and anyone who wants to understand PDFs without breaking their reading flow.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built NarratorPDF because I kept running into the same problem while reading books and research papers: whenever I found an unfamiliar word, concept, or reference, I had to leave the PDF, open a translator or search engine, copy the text, find the answer, and then try to return to where I was.
That constant context switching made reading slower and broke my focus.
NarratorPDF started as a simple tool for translating selected text inside a PDF. As I used it more, the idea evolved into a complete reading companion: instant translation, quick research, page capture, and notes that can be shared to WhatsApp, email, Markdown, or reminders.
Privacy was also important to me, so PDFs stay on the device and only the text selected by the user is sent for translation.
I built NarratorPDF for language learners, students, researchers, and anyone who wants to understand difficult PDFs without interrupting their reading flow.
This is our first Product Hunt launch, and I’d genuinely love to hear your feedback, feature requests, and thoughts on how we can make PDF reading better. 🚀

The inline translate and research popup is such a nice idea, no more alt tabbing through Google and dictionaries just to understand one paragraph.
