I built PDF Ghost after reading one too many news stories about leaked confidential documents: companies share PDFs with investors, partners, or employees - and when those documents leak, there's no way to know who was responsible.
Existing solutions either use ugly visible watermarks (that anyone can crop out) or require special reader software. I wanted something invisible that works with any standard PDF viewer.
PDF Ghost embeds a unique forensic fingerprint into every copy. The watermark is imperceptible to the human eye. When a leak happens, you upload the suspect file and get an answer in seconds.
This is an early launch - not everything is polished yet, but the core functionality is solid.
