I'm Aldrick, the solo founder of PayDM.
The idea behind PayDM came from a simple frustration: getting in touch with the right people shouldn't be so difficult.
We've never had so much access to people online. You can follow entrepreneurs, creators, experts, and professionals from anywhere in the world. You can learn from their content, watch their videos, and follow their work.
But what happens when you have one specific question for one of them?
You send a DM. Maybe an email. You wait, and most of the time, you never hear back.
Not because your question isn't worth answering, but because the person on the other side might receive hundreds of messages and simply can't respond to everyone.
And if you really want an answer, the alternative is often to book an expensive consulting call, join a membership, or buy an entire course.
Sometimes, you don't need an hour of someone's time. You just need one good answer.
That's where the idea for PayDM started.
I wanted to create a simple way for people to reach the creators and experts they value, while making it worthwhile for those people to respond.
So I built PayDM.
Here's how it works:
Creators and experts set their own price for a private message.
They share their personal PayDM link with their audience.
Anyone can pay to send them a specific question.
The creator has 8 days to send a personal written reply.
If they don't answer, the buyer gets an automatic refund.
No subscriptions. No scheduling. No unnecessary commitments.
Just one payment, one question, and one personal reply.
For creators, it's another way to earn from the knowledge and experience they already share.
For everyone else, it's a way to ask a question without having to buy an entire service or hope that a free message gets noticed.
I've been building PayDM independently, handling the product, development, design, and everything that comes with launching a startup.
There's still a lot to improve, and that's exactly why I'm sharing it here.
I'm interested in hearing what people think, especially about how we can make access to the right people simpler and more useful for both sides.
I'd love your feedback on one question:
If you could pay a reasonable amount to get a personal answer from someone whose experience you value, would you do it?
Thanks for checking out PayDM!
