Pause is a curated network for London. One in-person match a week — coffee, a skill swap, or quiet cowork — for the restless, the curious, and the tired of scrolling.
Hey PH 👋
I built Pause after a stretch of feeling strangely isolated despite being surrounded by people — the classic London thing where everyone's busy, plans fall through, and it's easier to stay in than make the effort to see someone new.
The idea was simple: what if meeting someone new took zero effort to arrange? Every week, Pause matches you with one person — for coffee, a skill swap, or just a quiet cowork session — based on what you're both into. No swiping, no group chats that go nowhere, no "we should get coffee sometime" that never happens. Just one match, one meetup, every week.
It's live in London now, first cycle just went out. Would love feedback from this community, especially on the matching experience and onboarding — very early days and there's a lot I'm still iterating on.
Happy to answer anything about how the matching logic works or what's next on the roadmap!
