PassTheMic is an opinionated chat app that helps people have more engaging and respectful conversations. Inspired by communication-research from UC Berkely, it provides an opinionated way for conversations, so that it gives more space for every participant to engage in conversation and feel heard.
A small idea from a curious user: add a quick post-chat summary that shows who spoke the most and any moments that got flagged, so people can reflect and balance the conversation next time. Would love to see that kind of lightweight feedback loop built in.
Really like the timed handoffs concept, it actually made a usually quiet friend speak up in our group chat. Could use a way to mute the structure when conversations get more casual though.
