Passary is a zero-knowledge password manager that encrypts your vault locally in the browser. Your data never reaches a server, and no tracking is used. You stay in full control of your passwords—no cloud, no blind trust, no compromises. Built for people who take privacy seriously.

Hello PH community! 👋
I’m Mihály, creator of Passary.
Today I’m excited to share Passary, a zero-knowledge password manager that keeps your vault fully in your hands. All encryption and decryption happen locally in your browser — nothing is sent to any server, and we don’t use tracking, analytics, or telemetry of any kind.
I built Passary because most password managers depend on cloud vaults or centralized storage. That creates a single point of failure, and I wanted a simpler model: your passwords stay with you, encrypted on your device, and never leave it.
What Passary offers today:
- Local vault storage encrypted with AES-256
- True zero-knowledge architecture
- Clean, minimal interface focused on essentials
- No accounts, no syncing, no cloud dependency
- No tracking, analytics, or hidden data flow
- Works entirely client-side in your browser
A quick note on transparency:
Passary loads the app shell from the web today, but your vault never leaves your device. Native offline apps (desktop + mobile), import options, and other features are already on the roadmap - and development is very active with continuous improvements.
If you’re curious how a fully local, zero-knowledge password manager feels, you can try Passary instantly - no signup required. I’d truly love to hear what you think.
My goal is to build a privacy-first password manager that’s easy to trust and simple to use - without compromising on security or user ownership.
Thanks so much for checking out Passary! ❤️
