I've always enjoyed playing sudoku puzzles on paper, and playing on my phone never really stacked up. When I got an apple pencil it seemed obvious to make this app. The primary goal was to recreate the experience of playing on paper, but with access to helpful tools that were hidden but only a tap away. A carefully tuned ML-model works to recognise digits, and any errors (hidden by default) can be highlighted on demand. Make pencil marks in multiple colours or highlight them to aid complex solving strategies. If desired auto-fill pencil marks with ease. There is also a 'learn' button that can sketch possible solving steps right onto the grid for you. I released the first version mid last year and have recently released version 2 taking on board lots of feedback from early users.
