What's great

I love Pangea for multiple reasons. It lets me keep track of every place I've visited without worrying about pin limits or paying for extra features, which was something I always ran into with other apps. What really makes it standout is the social aspect. I love being able to see where my friends are traveling, follow along with their trips, and even make spontaneous plans when our travels overlap. It's made staying connected so much more fun. I recommend to anyone who loves to travel.

What needs improvement

It's impressive how much Pangea has improved since I first started using it. It's come a long way, and it's been fun watching new features and updates make the app even better over time. I'd love to see even more trip-planning features, like collaborative itineraries or shared travel checklists for groups. I think those would make planning trips with friends even easier while building on what the app already does so well.

vs Alternatives

Before Matt told me about Pangea, I used a map pinning app to keep track of the places I'd been. It was useful for logging my travels, but that's really all it did. There wasn't any way to connect with friends or share experiences, and the free version capped you at 50 pins unless you paid for a subscription. Once I hit that limit, I stopped using it.

What's great

I’ve been using Pangea since its early days and it has only gotten better with the constant updates being rolled out. I mainly use it to track my trips and save my recommendations for different cities, but I can also see how easy it would be to collaborate with others to plan trips all inside the app. The features that help you connect with friends who might be coincidentally in the same area as you is also a unique golden feature that I think people will like. As time goes on and travel becomes even more accessible, I think Pangea will be in great position as the best social-travel app!

What needs improvement

I think if users could add some form of content to highlight their traveling, it could introduce more engagement opportunities. The tricky part would be figuring out how to make the content unique and not just like any of the big social platforms.

vs Alternatives

When Matt Gray first told me about Pangea, it was the first I had heard of such a platform, so I did not have many other apps to compare it to. That uniqueness is what makes it special and keeps me on it versus the other competitors I now know of.

What's great

As someone who travels full-time, I love being able to see where my friends are headed and when our plans might overlap. Pangea makes a life spread across the world feel a little more connected.

What needs improvement

I’d love more ways to discover local meetups and connect with people who share my interests.
