That developer was in a different timezone so by the time we were up in the morning it was done! There was no download or installation needed. They simply called the REST API for Redact. This meant they could implement it once and have multi-device support. We would recommend to anyone looking to improve their application’s security posture to try out Pangea’s developer friendly APIs!
We wanted to see what was possible with Pangea vs build-it-yourself but the fact that all I needed was a token and the Python SDK made it a no-brainer to use Pangea. Hand-rolling something like this would just take more time and developer time is expensive. It was much easier to integrate Pangea’s Audit logging API and get the security features like log signing and verification with virtually no development effort on our side.
The ability to embed authentication into any app within minutes, starting with basic username and password options and scaling up to multiple multi-factor authentication (MFA) choices, domain and IP access lists, EULA acceptance, and more, is a fantastic offering. It provides flexibility and adaptability, ensuring that apps can meet evolving security needs.
