Hey everyone 👋 PanelPlan started with a friend's idea. He's not a carpenter, but he saw carpentry shops planning cuts by hand or in spreadsheets, losing material to bad layouts — and no tool built for how a small shop actually works. I built it from there: real guillotine-cut constraints, grain direction, edge-tape compensation, and eventually the pieces that turned it from a nesting tool into something a whole shop could run on — stock tracking, drilling templates, assembly checklists, client quotes.
