Most website monitoring tools track entire pages, creating noise from ads, layout shifts, and irrelevant updates. PageWatch works differently. Select the exact part you care about — a price, stock label, or content section — and get notified only when that area changes. Track price drops, competitor pricing, stock updates, or content changes without refreshing pages. No noise. Just meaningful changes.

Hey everyone 👋
I built PageWatch because I was tired of refreshing the same pages over and over just to catch small but important updates.
Price drops.
Stock availability.
Job openings.
Content changes hidden somewhere on a long page.
Most monitoring tools track the entire webpage, which creates a lot of noise:
ads changing
layout shifts
unrelated sections updating
So instead of monitoring the whole page, PageWatch lets you select the exact region you care about.
It watches only that area and alerts you when it actually changes.
Some use cases people are already trying:
tracking product prices
monitoring job listings
stock availability
competitor updates
changelog / docs changes
Would love feedback:
What would you monitor with this?
Another thing I realized:
raw change detection alone isn’t enough.
Some changes technically count as “different” but still aren’t meaningful to the user.
I’ve been experimenting with using AI as a second layer to help classify whether a detected change is actually worth notifying about.
Still early, but it helps reduce noisy alerts quite a bit on dynamic pages.
