Out of curiosity, what usually happens after the alert? Do merchants already know what to do, or is response becoming part of the product?
@aryan787544 Good question. The core flow is redirect + alert: the moment we detect a clone, you get notified immediately with the domain, timestamp and referrer.
On redirect specifically, it's configurable, not all-or-nothing. You can set what percentage of clone traffic gets redirected back to your store (say, 100% right away, or start smaller), and you can pause redirect entirely on a given profile while still getting alerts. Some merchants want traffic redirected immediately to stop the bleeding, others prefer to just monitor quietly first, maybe to avoid tipping off whoever's running the clone that they've been caught, and decide their next move (legal, takedown request, etc) before acting.
Reporting to the registrar/host or filing a takedown isn't automated in the product yet, that part's still manual on the merchant's side, and something I'm considering for later based on feedback like this.
Curious if partial/staged redirect like that matches how you'd want to handle it, or if you'd go straight to 100% redirect from the start.
