Don’t support. This team ripped off PackPoint down to every last item on the packing list. Stole all of the features, all of the copy, and even the foreign language translations. A violation of the AppStore’s TOS (they explicitly say to make your own apps, and not to re-skin an existing popular app). Ben Gillenwater (PackPoint PM) is filing a complaint.

This app stole everything but its UI from PackPoint.
Been disappointed at the price point to integrate TripIt, but have used the product for a year. Good work

Launched a similar app, Packable, for Android not even reached top 10 on Product Hunt. I remember when another similar iOS app was launched, again it was first for that day. Only wanted to point out what a big difference is between iOS and Android, even if I'm an Android dev.
@ivandrag it clearly depends on the audience. I believe Product Hunt visitors are mostly from the US which has above 50% market share in iOS in the age range 25-40.
Other countries like Europe have up to 70% Android share.
Had a look at your app, nice job!

@jkleroy Thanks. See that you have plenty of reviews on your app. How many downloads does the app have? Is it a free version of it or just paid?
@ivandrag I'd rather not disclose the total downloads of Packr. Although you can find some pretty good download estimates on ASO tools.
Packr is a freemium app. 90% of the features are free (no ads), users can unlock premium features to includes full weather forecast, custom packing lists and synchronization on all iOS devices.
Getting a lot of reviews is extremely important on app stores (both Google Play & Apple App Store). Packr uses a slightly modified version of iRate (now deprecated) to improve user reviews and ratings: https://github.com/nicklockwood/...

Interesting but not there yet. There are some strange items on the list when I plan a formal dinner.
