Existing tools either required manual organization or sent everything to the cloud. I wanted something different: • fully on-device • encrypted • offline-first • no accounts • no analytics • no servers OwnMind quietly remembers your digital activity on Mac — clipboard history, apps, browser activity, files, and optional screenshots — then lets you search everything in natural language using Apple Foundation Models running locally on-device. One of the hardest parts was balancing powerful AI search with strict privacy guarantees and lightweight background performance.
