How does the OneTimeView actually work on the recipient's end, like do they need to install anything to view the file or is it all browser-based?
@brahim873362 It's completely browser-based, so the recipient doesn't need to install anything. They simply open a secure link in their browser.
With OneTimeView, the file cannot be downloaded, and common download methods are completely blocked. It also helps prevent screenshots and screen recordings on supported devices. For even more protection, you can add a watermark before sending, making it much harder for someone to take a photo of the screen with another device and share the content.
The OneTimeView feature is a really clever design choice, it solves the real problem of sensitive files lingering in inboxes long after they should. Nice execution on making privacy feel simple instead of intimidating.

We wanted to make secure file sharing effortless, so anyone can protect sensitive content without dealing with complicated settings or extra software. A browser extension for Gmail or Outlook that lets you insert OWL Transfer links directly while composing would be a huge time saver. Right now I have to upload on the site then switch back to my email, which breaks my flow.
