I built OwePilot around a simple problem: small service businesses often finish the work, send the invoice, and then still have to spend time remembering who owes them money and sending awkward follow-up emails. I didn’t want to build another full accounting platform. I wanted something focused on one job: keeping unpaid invoices organized and handling professional follow-up automatically. With OwePilot, you add the invoice, choose when reminders should go out, and the follow-ups stop once the invoice is marked paid. I also built a free Invoice Reminder Generator so people can try part of the experience without signing up. I’m launching early because I want real feedback from people who actually deal with overdue invoices. I’d love to know what feels useful, what feels unnecessary, and what would make OwePilot more valuable for your business.

How do you currently follow up on overdue invoices?

I m building OwePilot for small service businesses that are tired of manually chasing unpaid invoices.

I m curious how others handle this today:

Do you send reminders manually?
Use QuickBooks, Xero, or another accounting tool?
Have a bookkeeper handle it?
Mostly rely on memory and spreadsheets?

The goal with OwePilot is to keep the process simple: add the invoice, choose the reminder timing, and let the follow-ups go out automatically until the invoice is marked paid.
