Accept USDC on Base with hosted checkout, automatic on-chain payment detection, direct settlement, and signed fulfillment webhooks.

Hey PH 👋 Tharun here, founder of Outpay.
I built Outpay because accepting stablecoin payments still feels way more complicated than it should.
What is Outpay?
A simple, non-custodial way for businesses to accept USDC payments on Base.
Create a checkout link, send it to a customer, and receive the payment directly in your own wallet.
No intermediaries holding your funds.
No complicated crypto setup.
No manual transaction tracking.
We wanted accepting USDC to feel as simple as sending a Stripe payment link.
The problem
Businesses can build and launch globally faster than ever, but getting paid globally is still surprisingly painful.
Traditional payment processors come with fees, settlement delays, geographic restrictions, and intermediaries.
Stablecoins solve a lot of that at the infrastructure level, but most crypto payment products still feel like they were built for crypto users rather than normal businesses.
That’s the gap we wanted Outpay to solve.
What Outpay does
- Creates shareable USDC checkout links
- Sends payments directly to the merchant’s wallet
- Detects and verifies on-chain payments automatically
- Tracks customers, transactions, and payment status
- Provides a clean hosted checkout experience
- Runs on Base for fast and inexpensive transactions
No custody. No intermediaries.
How the product evolved
The first version was basically about proving that the full payment flow could work reliably:
Create a checkout → customer pays → detect the transaction on-chain → verify it → update the payment status → notify the merchant.
Once that worked, the focus shifted toward making the experience feel less like interacting with crypto infrastructure and more like using a normal payments product.
The first real payment going through in under a minute was one of those moments where the product suddenly felt real.
Where it shines
Outpay is useful for internet businesses, indie hackers, SaaS products, agencies, creators, and anyone who wants to accept USDC without giving custody of their funds to another platform.
You get paid directly into your own wallet while Outpay handles the checkout experience, payment detection, verification, and tracking around it.
What we’d love from you
Outpay is still early, and that’s exactly why I’m launching it here.
I’d really appreciate you trying it and telling me what feels confusing, slow, unnecessary, or incomplete.
Feedback from people actually attempting to use the product is much more useful than building in isolation.
Stablecoin payments, without the complexity.
Would love to hear what you think 🙌
