L'analyse "Competitor Gap" sur les backlinks m'a sorti 23 sites qui linkent mes 3 concurrents directs mais pas moi — j'ai contacté 6, 2 ont dit oui en 10 jours. Côté Rank Tracker, le suivi des SERP features (AI Overview, featured snippet, local pack) m'a fait réaliser qu'on apparaissait dans l'AI Overview sur 11 mots-clés sans que je le sache.

What needs improvement

Un bouton "créer un brief de contenu" directement depuis les mots-clés où on perd face à un concurrent, et plus de modèles d'emails d'outreach segmentés par secteur (SaaS, agence, e-commerce).

vs Alternatives

Serpstat détecte les AI Overviews mais ne les relie pas aux backlinks. Semrush fait les deux mais à un prix qui n'a de sens qu'à partir d'une équipe SEO de 3+ personnes. Outerank est pensé pour les fondateurs qui font leur SEO eux-mêmes — tout est actionnable, rien n'est décoratif.

Merci You Nes — le "Competitor Gap" était justement le workflow qu'on voulait rendre évident (pas 10 clics pour trouver les 23 bons prospects). Super noté pour le bouton "créer brief de contenu" depuis les mots-clés perdus — on l'ajoute à la roadmap. Les modèles d'outreach par secteur (SaaS/agence/e-commerce) arrivent dans la prochaine version. — Zakaria

What's great

As CEO of Atayri, I needed a simple way to understand our traditional SEO performance and how our company appears in AI-generated answers. Outerank made both much easier.

The Rank Tracker shows how our important keywords are moving, while AI Search Visibility lets us inspect the actual answers, citations, sources, and competitors appearing across multiple AI engines. It doesn’t leave us with another unexplained score—it shows what is happening and what we can do next.

When Outerank identifies an opportunity, we can prepare a new page in Content Writer or improve an existing one through the AEO workflow without repeating the research. Setting up our main project took approximately 30 minutes, and Outerank now saves us around five hours each week across research, content planning, visibility checks, and reporting.

What needs improvement

I would like deeper customization for executive reports and dashboards, particularly more control over which metrics and charts appear in exported reports.

vs Alternatives

We considered traditional SEO platforms such as Semrush and Ahrefs, dedicated rank trackers, newer AI-visibility tools, and continuing with manual checks across different AI engines.

Most alternatives solved only one part of the problem or required us to combine several products. Outerank gave Atayri a more connected workflow: keyword rankings, AI-search visibility, competitor evidence, technical insights, and content actions in one platform.

We chose Outerank because it was easier to understand and helped us move from evidence to action. We can see where Atayri is missing, understand which competitors and sources are appearing, and immediately start working on the appropriate page.

What's great

Backlink Monitor caught 4 lost dofollow links from old guest posts after the publishers redesigned their sites — got 2 restored in a week by emailing the editors with the exact context Outerank gave me. Rank tracker is depth-priced, so I track 80 keywords without burning credits on positions nobody checks (page 10 doesn't matter).

What needs improvement

Bulk anchor edits on prospect lists (right now I click per-row), and a sparkline column on the main rank-tracker table so I don't have to open each keyword to see the trend.

vs Alternatives

Semrush does both at ~10× the price and buries the useful bits under 50 dashboards. Serpstat is cheaper but thin on backlinks. Outerank wins on "what should I actually do this week" — the Brain module tells me, instead of handing me a 400-row CSV.
