Hi everyone, We are working on a Smart Home product to provide control and convenience to your existing Smart Home setup for controlling typical domestic windows. There has been a substantial increase in the DIY Smart Home communities developing their own solutions but they are for individual use-cases, require technical know how and most are not exactly manufacturable. We are developing a device that will be retrofittable, battery powered, CE/EMC certified, something you can pick up in a store and install it yourself without much hassle. The images above are showing a pre-prototype design. We are currently in progress to develop the improved version as a MVP with basic smartphone controls. We can control numerous devices in our homes, but smart home solutions seem to have forgotten about windows. We want to give people the ability to: - Automation ventilation to improve air quality - Never worry about forgetting to check/lock your windows, our devices are going to do that for you. - If someone tries to break in, our devices are going to notify you on your smartphone. - Schedule window controls to open/close and for how long - Configure humidity and temperature thresholds to release excess heat or moisture - Rain detection - Smart Home hub/assistant integration - Notification and Alerts to your smartphone We are interested in getting some feedback/thoughts about how you may would like to use a device like this or what you'd expect from it. Hit me up for any questions you may have. We have some more information on www.robtic.co.uk
