Hi, I'm Lasse, the CTO of OtterWise. I built OtterWise to scratch my own itch. At my workplace we had 2 problems with existing solutions: 1. They access our source code needlessly, and had previous data breaches. 2. Their integration with patch coverage (coverage of changes files) and coverage change per PR lacked and often didn't work. OtterWise is an all-in-one platform for tracking test coverage as well as finding high change-risk code, tracking developer velocity and more. It is of course free for open source, and it's fully bootstrapped and profitable. In the era of AI-code, tests and reviews are more important than ever. Knowing what parts of a PR is missing tests, especially when vibe-coded by an LLM, is crucial to reducing bugs.
