This seems like yet another tool trying to automate content creation like Copy.ai and Jasper, but is it really necessary to have full control over each step or is it just adding complexity, curious to see how it stacks up against established names, feedback might be harsh but let's see if it lives up to the hype

Thanks for the feedback @agrometeo2050 ! That's totally fair feedback. We're definitely keeping in mind that there's a lot of tools in this space. I think we have a niche of being very text focused right now. Honestly we're just hoping to help our users, not really aiming to compete with huge players right now. If we can save time for our users we're happy :) You're also right that complexity is an issue, we considered just launching as a vertical specific app with pre-built workflows and not expose that functionality but we're curious to see what users want to do with it and see usecases we hadn't thought of.

Great to see Otter Script launch on PH, @sinajamshidi2! The automation of text-based workflows is something many of us need, especially for bulk tasks. I love how customizable each workflow can be; it really shows the thought behind the product. Thanks for checking us out @ladislau_pop ! Very fair point. Honestly I'm noticing that while there are a lot of tools, a lot of them tackle different parts of different niches. We've worked with some product and marketing professionals to develop Otter Script so we're confident that we are solving some problem. Now the goal is to keep refining so that it can continue to provide value.

Thanks for the comment @renchu_song ! Our current approach with adding columns to tables is two-fold: 1. We generate one row at a time instead of a whole column. This ensures context is not lost later on in the column and improves quality 2. We still pass the previous cells into the context to make sure content is not duplicated. This took some experimentation but we're pleased with the results so far We have some ideas for how to tackle this going forward as well so we'll be experimenting with more fine-tuning and different models.
