Hello makers! 😄 I've been a lurker for almost 2 years now, and I finally decided to start building since last month. Last year, I was studying in the US, I had some savings, and I wanted to enjoy it to the maximum. After reading the book 'Die with Zero' by Bill Perkins, I decided that I needed to get the most out of my money with my time left. Traditional budgets never worked for me, as I often felt it restrictive, and my spending each month were totally different. I had no idea how an expense would affect me for the coming months. That's when I discovered forecast budgeting, which is a way to manage your money by looking into the future. Instead of tracking what you've spent, it helps you predict how much money you'll have at any given time. This is often used for businesses to manage their cashflow, but I couldn't find a pleasing solution for individuals. So I built it. You can try out the live demo through the website. Add your own revenues and expenses to see where you stand and how your financial situation will evolve over time. Your data is private, and is stored on local storage for now.

Love this app. It's very simple and might need some features but the main thing is there. I'm a student and girlfriend is coming next month. I didn't know when I would have enough money to buy Disneyland tickets for us. But with Orus I could plan that and also how much I would be able to spend when she comes.
