Hello everyone, I am the developer of OptiTalk. I started working on OptiTalk a few months ago mainly because I find the thought of bringing your fantasized characters to life very interesting. Imagine being able to talk to characters you have created out of boredom, well now you can. Sure, there are platforms like character.ai that already does this, but what sets OptiTalk apart is the ability to further customize the character's personality, response styles, favorite words, etc. Characters can also have a extensive knowledge base which other platforms does not offer. The knowledge base can include things like the character's backstory, long descriptions on what they specialize in, their friends, and many more. Really it's up to the character developer. On top of that, there are also tons of planned features that I will work on in the future if the project gets continuous support (as running the site gets expensive): - Commands: Give characters the ability to execute commands such as generating images, searching the web, etc. These commands can also be customized so that developers can create commands of their own. - Intent System: For every response, developers can get the intent of a message. Intents are a way of representing the meaning of a message in simple keywords that's easier for a computer to associate with a action. (e.g., the character developer provided the 'END_MESSAGE' intent and whenever the character says goodbye (or similar to that), the 'END_MESSAGE' intent is returned. - Multi-modal: Give characters the ability to recognize other forms of media such as images and audio.
