OpentheClaw is a lightweight desktop launcher that lets you start OpenClaw’s Web UI over SSH with a single click. Instead of manually opening a terminal, typing SSH commands, and forwarding ports every time, you configure it once and just double-click to launch. It automatically establishes the SSH tunnel and opens your browser. Built for developers who love AI tools but hate repetitive setup. Cross-platform: macOS, Linux, and Windows.

I built OpentheClaw because of a tiny annoyance that kept showing up in my day.
I was using OpenClaw more and more… and every time I wanted the Web UI, I’d do the same little ritual: open terminal → type the SSH tunnel command → check ports → then finally open the browser.
Not hard, just repetitive. And the more I used OpenClaw, the more that friction started to matter.
So I treated it like a small 「problem worth solving」:
What if launching OpenClaw felt like opening an app?
After a few iterations, OpenTheClaw became a simple launcher: configure once, then double-click. It sets up the SSH tunnel for you and opens the UI automatically. No more remembering commands, no more context switching.
The payoff is bigger than I expected: it makes the whole workflow feel calmer. When the start is effortless, you use the tool more, experiment more, and get more value out of it. That’s the leverage.
This is my first Product Hunt launch. I really believe in tiny improvements, and I keep committing them.
If you try it, I’d love to hear.
Hope this one makes your setup just a little smoother too :)
Warmly,
Du
