We started building OpenPrompt because we noticed something happening around us. Developers were adopting more and more AI coding tools, models, and agents, but managing all of them was becoming a challenge of its own.
We were seeing people switching between tools, losing project context, struggling to manage token usage, and having a hard time figuring out which models actually made sense for their projects.
We felt there should be a better way to manage all of this without forcing developers to stick with one AI tool.
That's why we're building OpenPrompt. A control center for your entire AI coding tool stack, where you can manage context, usage, costs, and make better decisions while continuing to use the tools you love.
We're still early, still learning, and genuinely excited to build this with the developer community.
