Openpod: Invest in your favorite open source projects!

We’re a DAO-as-a-service platform for OSS projects to create their own DAO and custom token. Developers earn tokens for their work and early users/believers can invest in them. Tokens can be redeemed for project perks/benefits or sold for immediate returns.

Hey Product Hunt, Samik and Simar (@simar_kohli) from Openpod here 👋 We’re building a DAO-as-a-service platform for open source projects! Many OSS projects we’ve talked to faced issues with incentivizing contributions and rewarding early contributors/users, which leads to critical systems being solely supported by volunteers. Think of us as rewards points for projects :) By minting utility tokens, developers can be paid out, users can purchase and invest, and the tokens are redeemable for perks (like Open Core/SaaS credits, benefits and even swag). If you have interesting projects on your personal GitHub account or lead an OSS project, feel free to set up a DAO and tokens to jumpstart your growth! It currently costs ~$0.15.
