A native, local-first alternative to Logitech Options+, written in Rust. Remap buttons, drive DPI and SmartShift over HID++ — no account, no telemetry.

No account, no telemetry, and a plain config.toml I can actually inspect and copy between machines - that's the whole pitch for me over Logitech's own Options+ app, which always felt heavier than what it's actually doing. Native on macOS/Windows/Linux and written in Rust so it's fast to launch, not another Electron menu bar hog.

The launch notes mention you need to fully quit Options+ before running this since both fight over the same HID++ receiver - a startup check that detects Options+ still running and tells you to quit it, rather than just failing silently or conflicting, would save someone a confusing first five minutes.

I don't want the official app running just to remap a couple of buttons and set DPI - it always felt like more background process and account nagging than the job needed. Open source and no cloud dependency also means it should keep working even if Logitech ever deprecates Options+ or drops support for an older mouse.
