OpenLift is a workout app for strength training and calisthenics that keeps your whole process in one place: program planning, workout logging, adaptive progression, nutrition, measurements, and analytics. It helps you decide the next session from real performance, not guesswork or scattered spreadsheets. Open source and privacy-first, with self-hosting planned after a stable release.


I built OpenLift because I got tired of using workout apps that only remembered the last session, while the real work still lived in spreadsheets, notes, and guesswork.
I wanted one system that could handle planning, logging, progression, nutrition, measurements, and review without turning training into admin work.
OpenLift is built for strength training and calisthenics users who want structure, but still want control. It is not trying to replace a good coach. It is trying to remove a lot of avoidable friction from the process.
It is also open source and privacy-first, with self-hosting planned once the product is stable.
