OpenASCII exists because I couldn't find a modern, open-source ASCII rendering library that I could easily integrate into web applications. I originally built it for another project where I wanted interactive, high-quality ASCII visuals running entirely in the browser. What started as an internal tool quickly grew into a standalone library. My goal is to make ASCII rendering accessible to developers, designers, and creative coders without requiring custom rendering pipelines or server-side processing.
