Open Resume for Devs

Open Resume for Devs

This is how developers should create a resume.

This tool pools in all the most information that is relevant to a dev hire in one place. GitHub, StackOverflow, ProductHunt are the best places to look for a dev's prowess - not resumes with paras of irrelevant shit. Show, don't tell. Also, devs are lazy.

When I'm making a dev hire, I don't like to look at their resume. The only thing that I care about in the resume, is the GitHub profile. I wish I didn't have to make that extra click. The GitHub gives a clear understanding of what the dev likes to work on. ProductHunt profiles shows how if they are Launchers. Their answers on StackOverflow and blogs on Medium are great places to know how the dev thinks and contributes to the community. These are the things that I look for. This makes my job easier - to see all of it in one view. That's exactly what openresume.dev is :)
