Over the past year, we’ve been frustrated with how painful it is to manage research papers — endless PDFs, scattered notes, and poor navigation. So we built Ontosyn as a modern research paper reader.
Here’s what it does right now: • Clean UI with smoother in-paper navigation (bookmarks, quick jumps back after clicking references) and actions (highlights, comments) • Integrated AI chat to summarize papers, answer questions, and recommend relevant related work • Library management so you can organize and connect your papers in one place
We launched a closed alpha last week, and the first users are already finding it helpful. Yesterday a user asked for author-based recommendations, and we shipped it within an hour. There’s still a lot to improve, and we’d love to build Ontosyn together with your feedback.
