Hi Product Hunt 👋 I got tired of a specific kind of dishonesty in fantasy football tools. Every one of them says "AI-powered projections". Not one publishes a record you can check. The most-cited accuracy study in the Fantasy Premier League space is from February 2023, on 2022/23 data, and it anonymises five of the six tools it compares. So the whole category asks you to pay for predictions on trust. Onside is my attempt at the opposite. The model's projections go up before each deadline, timestamped. After the gameweek, we grade them in public — including the calls we got wrong. That's the entire product philosophy, and honestly it's an uncomfortable way to build, because the misses are right there next to the hits. Two things I'd genuinely like this community's read on: 1. This season the Premier League's own app started giving away live rank, live mini-leagues and a price-change predictor for free. I've written a page on our own site telling people exactly which paid tools now duplicate features they already own — including where that shrinks our own pitch. Is publishing that naive, or is it the only defensible position for a small player? 2. We deliberately don't gate the squad builder or the projections behind a signup.
