LearningBoard focuses strictly on a flawless, hyper-realistic writing surface. - The Tactile Deficit: Styli feel flat online. LearningBoard addresses this with dynamic, hardware-level pressure sensitivity that changes chalk thickness on the fly. - The Noise Factor: To recreate the classroom immersion, we built a custom Web Audio engine that gives you realistic chalk scratching sound effects responsive to your hand speed. - Privacy & Access: Educators shouldn't have to worry about student data tracking. LearningBoard is 100% client-side, runs completely offline, and requires zero user registration or servers. 🔄 How the process evolved Initially, this started as a basic canvas experiment. However, early feedback from remote math tutors made us completely rethink the architecture.
