Fun! I used to play Go almost every day in college. Thanks to Hikaru No Go 😎

@nicnocquee I remember Hikaru No Go. Were you watching it or reading the manga?
And have you joined OGS?

I first began using OGS about a year so ago and have found the experience refreshing as compared to other available online options. There are number of different of game play options available to participants.
All the features you need to learn and play Go are available through this platform. This includes and is not limited to: Tutorials, Puzzles, Chat, Tournaments, Ladders, Groups, Forums.
The service is free and run on a donation basis.
The game itself is quite simple and timeless:
Two players alternately place black and white playing pieces, called "stones", on the vacant intersections ("points") of a board with a 19×19 grid of lines. Beginners often play on smaller 9×9 and 13×13 boards.
The objective of the game - as the translation of its name implies - is to have surrounded a larger total area of the board with one's stones than the opponent by the end of the game.
