That thing on your to-do list for years. You know the one. Type it into Omodo and pick when you're free. Omodo plans the first milestone, and at the time you picked, instead of the scroll, there's an email: a first step, 20 minutes tops, with Done right in it. Too much tonight? Tap Stuck and it gets smaller. No streak. No guilt. Omodo stays with you to the goal: each next milestone is planned from where you stopped. Free until your first win, about a week in (3 weeks at most). Then $9 a month.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Dominic, I built omodo.ai.
I built it because of my to-do list. Some of the things on it had been sitting in the app for years, like "get in shape" and "work on my English accent". Every time I opened it I regretted the evenings I'd lost to doomscrolling, and I still hadn't done a single one. They were so vague I didn't know where to start. Blockers can stop the scroll, but they don't tell you what to do instead, so the phone comes back out.
Omodo does the other half. You type in the goal you keep putting off and pick your free times. Before each session it emails you one small step, something you can do in a few minutes to get going, with Done, Not today and Stuck right in the email. Stuck makes the step smaller. Skip a night and there's nothing to make up.
The one thing I copied from the research: decide the day, the time and the place before you start. Psychologists call it an if-then plan, and it's one of the most tested ideas in behaviour science (642 tests in the latest review). So every
Omodo session is a plan like that, "Tuesday 8:30, kitchen table: open the doc and type one line", and it lands in your inbox at that time. I haven't measured Omodo's own results yet. That's what this launch is for.
It's free until your first win, about a week in (3 weeks at most). Then $9 a month. It runs in your phone's browser, nothing to install.
If you'd like a hand getting started, I'm happy to set up your first plan with you on a 15-minute call. Just email me at hello@omodo.ai.
What would make you actually use something like this? And what's missing?
