I'm the solo founder behind OmniWatchGuard. This is my first SaaS after almost 3 years of evenings and weekends.
The problem that started it all: I was running a small online store in Romania and kept manually checking competitor websites — prices, stock, new products. Every. Single. Day.
I tried Visualping (too expensive), Distill.io (too technical). Nothing felt right for someone who just wanted: "Tell me when this page changes, and explain what changed."
So I built it myself.
The core insight: existing tools send too many false alerts. Every rotating ad, every timestamp — you get notified for all of it. I built an AI Noise Filter that classifies changes as "real" or "noise" and generates summaries like "Price dropped from €199 to €149".

Coming back with an update, not a relaunch (Product Hunt only lets us do those every 6 months, and fair enough — wanted to earn it properly next time).
Since April we focused on trust and speed: fixed every marketing claim that was ahead of what the product actually does yet, cleaned up performance (98 on PageSpeed now), and moved to sturdier infrastructure.
Working on real login-page monitoring next — that's the #1 request we've gotten. If that's something you'd use, tell me below, it'll shape what we build first.
