PH fam! I am hunting this smart product built by an indie maker team, Tosh and Brittany. The product, ohmystream, makes live streaming a lot easier and is currently free for users who sign up today. I found Tosh from his previous posts on Product Hunt asking about the open source tool FFmpeg, which powers Ohmystream under the hood. The product is built with makers in mind. I think that it is a useful tool for content creators who want to get started with creating live content on social media platforms. Go try it out! Good luck, Tosh & Brittany! 🤞

Thanks for hunting us @nishith_shah, We created ohmystream to make it super simple to go live from the browser. I was really confused with OBS when I downloaded it and thought there could be a solution that lets you go live to the most popular social media destinations AND custom RTMP destinations right from the jump at the same time. Right now we support: - screen sharing - streaming to Youtube, Twitch, Facebook, - streaming to custom RTMP - the studio automatically finds the highest resolution your computer will support for streaming - chat messages from Twitch - live view counts polled from Youtube, Twitch, and Facebook - passwordless auth We're super open to feedback so if there is a feature that you would like please reach out to me. Happy to build around your needs :)
Lorenzo
This is super cool! How have you achieved that?
Tosh
@devlorenzo1 Hi Lorenzo thank you! I blog about some of our technical work here: https://medium.com/@toshvelaga if you want to check it out. We use the PERN stack, websockets, and FFmpeg to make it work. I can also write a longer blog post if that would be helpful
