Ohmconnect

@LukeBornheimer Ohmconnect is a three-person team—Matt Duesterberg, Curtis Tongue, and myself. I believe "AirBNB for energy" was our original AngelList tagline. We notify our users when the grid is under stress and pay them for reducing their electricity use during those moments. We can send their saved energy back to the grid as if it were newly generated power, eliminating the need for the grid's most expensive and polluting power plants. In a sense, we are allowing users and entire communities to share their unneeded energy with communities in other, less strained parts of the energy grid. Our new tagline is "Replacing power plants with software."

That's an ambitious headline that I can use clarity on. What do you mean by "Airbnb for energy"? Also, who is the team behind OhmConnect?
