🌊 Why I built this:
I’ve always felt that modern social media is too loud, fast, and focused on showing off. Sometimes, you just need a quiet place to scream into the void or share a heavy thought without your friends or family knowing. I wanted to create a safe, slow space for genuine empathy.
✉️ What is oceanmail?
It’s a digital "message in a bottle" platform. You can anonymously write down your worries, toss them into the "sea," and wait for a comforting reply from a random stranger somewhere in the world.
✨ Key Features:
🌍 Built-in Translation: The ocean has no language barriers. If a bottle washes up in a language you don't know, you can translate it instantly with one click.
🛡️ Safe Space: A simple sign-up is required just to keep trolls and spam bots away.
💎 Freemium Model: Tossing bottles and replying to share comfort is 100% free. If you really connect with someone and want to unlock their profile or start a 1:1 private chat, there is a paid tier. This helps me cover the server costs as an indie dev!
