About a month ago as my friend Cody was standing in line at the store and they were keep track of the number of people they have in their store. When you walked in, the added to the tally, and when you left, the subtracted from the tally. It was an intuitive way to make sure their store wasn't overpacked to allow for proper social distancing. He thought that this was great for companies with dedicated IT employees, or access to the creation of tools like these, but what about smaller business owners that have just as much responsibility to keep their employee and patrons safe? What about restaurants, offices, or pretty much anybody that wanted to make sure they were within proper occupancy limits. Several nights and weekends later, and with the support from colleagues, we started putting together an idea for a web app space counter to help anyone keep track of occupancy limits for their space. We made sure that it's: 1. Open Source 2. Free to use 3. Private and Secure 4. Intuitive to Use 5. Has multi-client support (works with multiple people updating and reading the same space) Check out our promo video https://lnkd.in/eE4jrTq or dive right in and check it out at occupancyapp.com
