Hey Product Hunt! I’m Greg, the developer behind Ocarina Guide Map AI at Glitchrun.
I wanted a companion that keeps the useful parts of a guide beside you while you play: offline Child and Adult maps, collectible checkoffs, illustrated walkthroughs, song-button practice, and a journal you can export and merge. We built it in under 24 hours, and Apple has approved it.
The engineering goes beyond a chat screen. SQLite retrieves version-scoped guide passages; supported devices can generate answers with Apple Foundation Models, and an online fallback is available with consent. Cards and navigation come from local records. Maps use native raster rendering with retained pins and clustering. AI can still make mistakes.
It’s a WIP. The guide snapshot has coverage gaps and edition uncertainty, and I’d especially value corrections, missing locations or walkthrough steps, and feedback on map controls and spoiler handling.
The offline guide, maps and journal are free. Ten successful AI answers are included; optional Hero’s Pass is $1.99/month or $9.99/year in the US. No account is needed in the app.
Disclosure: AI-assisted development, including coding-agent help. Independent fan companion, unaffiliated with Nintendo. Thanks for trying it—what would make this more useful on your next playthrough?
