Hi everyone! 👋
I'm excited to introduce NutritionScan, an AI-powered nutrition assistant built to make calorie tracking simple.
Most calorie-tracking apps require manual searches and tedious food logging. I wanted to create something faster—just take a photo of your meal, and NutritionScan instantly estimates calories, macros, and nutritional information using AI.
Key features:
📸 AI meal photo recognition
🔥 Instant calorie estimation
💪 Protein, carbs & fat breakdown
🥗 Personalized nutrition insights
⚡ Fast and simple user experience
This is the first public release, and I'm actively improving the AI. I'd love your honest feedback on the food recognition accuracy, UI, and features you'd like to see next.
Thank you for checking it out and supporting an indie developer! 🚀

Honestly the photo recognition is pretty solid, scanned a chicken bowl and the macros were close to what my fitness app says. Wish it tracked more detailed ingredients but for quick logging it's basically what I needed.

The photo-first approach is honestly so much smoother than typing everything in manually, and the macros breakdown right under the calories makes it feel like a complete snapshot instead of just one number.
