Hey Product Hunt! NuModeX Ext Maker is an AI builder for Manifest V3 browser extensions and static websites. Available on Firefox Add-ons, Edge Add-ons, and the Whale Store. The feature I focused on most before launch: Import from ZIP Load an existing browser extension or website from a ZIP file directly into the tool and edit it with AI. No manual importing, no rebuilding from scratch. A lot of people have extensions they already built and want to maintain or extend - this makes that possible. Quick update, v2.4.0 is out.

Added seven models: Gemini 3.6 Flash and 3.5 Flash Lite, GPT-5.6 Sol, Terra and Luna, and Claude Opus 5 and Sonnet 5.

Dropped four that no longer work. Two OpenAI models that aren't served on the chat endpoint, and the Gemini 2.5 pair that Google will retire for new users.

Also fixed OpenAI requests for the GPT-5 family, and a bug where the model shown in the selector could differ from the one actually used.

26 models, all verified working. Still no backend, no telemetry, bring your own key.
