NULX is an early-access video service for courses, membership businesses, and internal teams who want control of their video library and a predictable monthly cost before committing. Public signup opens September 1.

Hi Product Hunt — I'm sharing NULX before it's public, to see if this problem is worth solving the way I think it is.
I kept seeing the same thing happen with video: the platform is easy to get into, then the library grows, the monthly bill becomes hard to explain, and leaving means moving years of files before the business can even think about switching.
NULX is built around a simpler buying decision:
One: keep control of the video library.
Two: estimate the monthly cost before committing.
Three: upload once and prepare video for customers, members, or employees.
Four: add private viewing and captions only when they're needed.
One thing I want to get right from day one: showing where each part of the bill actually comes from, instead of one number that hides everything. NULX charges for the plan and selected processing. The connected cloud provider bills its own storage and usage separately.
To be upfront: this is a pre-launch listing, not the full launch. Public signup opens September 1, and I'll come back and do a proper Product Hunt launch once anyone landing here can start using the product immediately. Right now I'm mainly here for feedback, not votes.
If you run video for online education, a paid membership, a customer portal, an agency, or internal training, I'd genuinely like to know:
What makes your current video bill difficult to predict?
Who controls the files when you cancel?
What would make switching feel too risky?
I'll be around to answer anything today.
