Hi Product Hunt, I'm Avinash, the solo developer behind Nudge Monster. This year I missed my sister's birthday. The day before, I had been on the phone with her talking about that very birthday. I knew. I still forgot. That's when it hit me that knowing isn't remembering, and a notification that shows up once and disappears is built to be ignored. So I built a reminder app that refuses to be ignored. When something is due, a live countdown starts by itself on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, and it stays there. You can't swipe it away by accident. The only way out is to mark the task done. For the things that really matter, Monster mode rings an alarm straight through silent mode and Focus. The hardest part was keeping the countdown alive. iOS retires Live Activities after a while, so I built a small push service that brings them back. It only stores an anonymous ID and two timestamps. Your task names never leave your phone, and there is no account, no tracking and no ads. It also pulls birthdays from your Contacts, warns you the night before, and keeps a Hall of Shame for the things you ignored. The free tier has unlimited reminders and birthdays.
